My hobby turned into a quest that became an obsession.

It started with Body Scrubs...

About a year ago, in the summer of 2007, I purchased some home-made sugar scrubs from a friend of mine.  They were very nice, but ever the adventuresome type, I thought I might be able to create a scrub with less of an oily feel or the stickiness of sugar, and more nutritionally beneficial to my body.  After quite a bit of research and personal experimentation, I developed a natural, paraben-free Body Scrub that uses high quality, good-for-you minerals, vitamins and oils and was perfect for my skin.  Friends and relatives seemed to agree, and before I knew it, I was blending Body Scrubs for lots of happy people.  That was my hobby, but it became the tip of the iceberg.

...then the search for an affordable "fountain of youth"...

Late in 2007, I attended the grand opening of a new medical clinic that would specialize in anti-aging pharmaceuticals, procedures and cosmeceuticals (products sold over-the-counter that provide a health benefit in addition to traditional cosmetic qualities).  As I toured the clinic, packed elbow-to-elbow with women (and a few men) of "a certain age," I was drawn to the allure of finding that magical fountain of youth.  However, surgery and injection procedures were definitely not my style, and the topical remedies that promoted a "younger- and healthier-looking me" were, in my opinion, outrageously expensive and temporarily effective at best.

Well, that started the quest for the best commercially available anti-aging skin care products that contained ingredients clinically proven to actually do what they claimed. And, yes, there are plenty out there. And they were -- once again -- outrageously expensive, especially since I couldn't find a product that would deliver the benefits I wanted in one, or at most two, simple formulas. Now I became obsessed. I figured there had to be a way for me to improve my skin's appearance and health without breaking the bank every month. That started me on the path of intensively researching the clinically-tested base ingredients that would achieve the results I wanted, then creating my own Anti-Aging Facial Care products. After months of testing on myself and family and friends who have also experienced, first-hand, the positive results, I was satisfied that I could offer products that were safe, highly effective...and affordable.

Of course, I couldn't stop with just the Body Scrubs and Anti-Aging Facial Care products.
